Taylor Swift Announces 2023 US Stadium 'Eras Tour'

Taylor Swift announced Tuesday morning her long awaited return to touring is happening beginning in March of 2023. Taylor Swifts new announcement comes weeks after releasing her latest album titled Midnights. The 'Eras Tour' will kick off in Glendale, Arizona in March and will end with two shows in Los Angeles in early August! She announced the US Stadium tour, while also announcing that international dates will be revealed at a later time!

Opening acts on the US tour include Paramore, Haim, Phoebe Bridges, Beabadoobee, Girl in Red, Gayle, Muna, Gracie Abrams, and Owenn. Tickets will open for sale to the public at 10am on November 18 but there will also include a presale for Capitol One Cardholders on November 15. The tour will consist of 27 shows across 20 cities in the US. The dates and cities are listed here.

It will have been 5 years since her last tour when this one begins, the last one being back in 2018 to promote her Reputation album. Since then, she has released 4 new albums, "Lover", "Folklore", "Evermore", and "Midnights", and 2 re-recorded albums "Fearless" and "Red".

There is no doubt that tickets for this tour are going to go fast, with her latest album breaking records. According to Variety "Midnights" had the "biggest week since Adel's "25" album", selling 1,578,000 album-equivalent units. Along with that, "for the first time in history, all 10 top slots of the Billboard Hot 100 were filled by a single artist’s songs, with "Anti-Hero" leading the way at No. 1."
