Jacob Elordi has been the latest heart throb to be cast to play Elvis Presley in a movie. Elordi has been cast to play opposite to Cailee Spaeny in a Sofia Coppola's new movie 'Priscilla'. Coppola is a writer and director on the upcoming film, which is an adaptation of Priscila Presley's 1985 memoir Elvis and Me, according to Deadline.
This new project comes months after the release of Austin Butler's portrayal of Elvis Presley in the movie Elvis, which was directed by Baz Luhrmann. The movie scored a 77% on rotten tomatoes and a 7.4/10 score on IMDB. The movie was also loved by fans while praising Butler for his performance.
Along with Coppola, Cailee Spaeny will also be directing the film, which will begin shooting this later fall in Toronto.
