Charlie XCX has been kind of popping off lately with her song "Speed Drive" off the Barbie Soundtrack. It has been your New at 2 champ on the afternoon show for the last couple of weeks and even celebrities are running to use the song as a powerful anthem on their social media posts.
Recently, even Sam Smith used the song as Sam was getting ready to get into a racing car. Fast forward to Charlie releasing the anticipated video for "Speed Drive" where in the middle of the song, the music cuts out and Charlie picks up a call from none other than Sam Smith! In the call, Charlie asks Sam if they had a chance to listen to the new music mix and that they needed to get it out!
