Did you try to hit up Alki Beach Park on the 4th of July Weekend after 10pm and have no luck? Well, that's because Seattle Parks and Recreation closed down the park early this year due to an increase in violent incidents. While some firework chasers were sad to find the park closed, Seattle Parks and Recreation has decided to keep the park closure time at 10pm until mid-September. Another early closure is how late you can have fires at Alki Beach Park. Seattle Parks and Recreation has set the closure time for 9:30pm after a few incidents of illegal fires on the beach.
