I dunno what is going on with me lately, but I'm LOVING binge watching shows based on true events. Here are a few shows I've recently binge watched that I feel are worthy of your time.
Dirty John: This show originally appeared on Bravo. The series got picked up on Netflix and it's as chilling as the trailer is. The story is based on a guy named "John" that would date women and lie to them about his job, financial situation, where he lived and anything else that would keep them around. It's very creepy and definitely worth a binge!
Unbelievable: this limited series caught me by surprise. I was randomly one day a few weeks ago watching trailers on Netflix and it stood out. It's about a girl named Marie, from Lynnwood, Wa. that's sexually assaulted. The police don't believe her and manipulate her to retract her statement. Turns out, she wasn't her attacker's only victim.
Mindhunter: are you a fan of the show Criminal Minds? I LOVE that show. This show Mindhunter is based on the development of the BAU within the FBI and how it all started. This show has two seasons out and it follows the research the BAU did in the initial stages of establishment that agents went through to develop theories about serial killers and their existence.
