Welp, parents from Tacoma, Centralia and Tumwater were unfortunately unable to get their kids to school today as strikes continued for the districts. As of today at 3:20p, none of the school districts have made announcements that school is back in session on Tuesday.
This will be updated regularly to keep you informed as to whether or not your kiddos have to go back to school tomorrow.
Update 9/11 5:28p: Tacoma schools closed 9/12. Centralia schools reopen 9/13.
Update 5:17p: schools will remain closed Tuesday 09/11 in Tacoma and Tumwater. No update on Centralia.
Update 4:30p: schools will remain closed Tuesday 09/11 in Tacoma.

Update 09/10/2018, 4:10p: The District will be offering free sack lunches to any child age 18 or younger from 12 noon to 12:30 p.m. at both Cooks Hill Community Church and the covered picnic area at Borst Park. Lunches will be available on a first come, first served basis.
Tumwater: according to their website, the latest update indicates that negotiations are on-going. You can stay updated HERE!
