I don't know how this works exactly, but if you're caught out with a plastic straw or fork do the authorities run up to you and knock it out of your hand?
I'm just kidding. No, they don't. Basically the law that goes into effect on July 1st, will ban the use of plastic straws or forks when you go out to eat! I am curious about how that's going to work if you need a fork to eat!
I have seen businesses like Whole Foods use cardboard straws, but those tend to go soggy after a few minutes in your iced coffee.
