Katy Perry narrowly avoided falling out of a stage prop mid-air during her Lifetimes Tour show in Adelaide, Australia, on Sunday (June 30).

According to Variety, the "California Gurls" hitmaker rose above the audience in a giant metal ball, ready to fly across the arena when the prop malfunctioned.

Video footage taken by concertgoer and X user KanishK shows Perry being lifted into the air, standing securely inside the device, when suddenly it tilted unexpectedly, causing a stir among the crowd.

Perry also appeared shaken as she hung onto the metal prop waiting for stage crew members to help her down. The artist did not immediately comment on the incident.

The "Firework" songstress recently wrapped the Australian leg of the tour, and is slated to return to America for her next string of shows on July 10!

Just last week, Perry shared a series of tour photos highlighting fun memories with her friends and crew, quality time with Australian wildlife, and precious moments with her daughter, four-year-old Daisy Dove, whom she shares with ex Orlando Bloom, in the Land Down Under.

The former pair recently called off their engagement, but plan to maintain an amicable co-parent relationship for Daisy's sake, US Weekly reported.

"They are still very much in touch and coparenting Daisy together. Orlando brought Daisy to meet Katy on tour before heading to the Bezos’ wedding. It’s not messy between them. They aren’t making drastic changes for Daisy’s sake. They will keep their lives in Montecito. They are prioritizing stability and consistency for Daisy."
