Here's Where to Pick Up Meals For Students During the LAUSD Strike

A three day strike is planned for Tuesday which means public schools will be forced to close. More than 60,000 LAUSD teachers and workers have staged this walkout in protest of unfair wages.

Salute to all the teachers and staff who are fighting for what they believe in and for better pay which they deserve, but this unfortunately leaves thousands of students without the meals they rely on every single day.

Thankfully, it was just announced that students will have access to these daily meals despite schools being closed. According to LA Times, there will be dozens of grab and go locations where families can pick up six meals per student on Tuesday between 7:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
