California To Become the 1st State to Provide All Students With Free Meals

Finally! It was just announced that California will become the first state to implement the "Universal Meals" program. This new systems aims to make sure that all school children will be provided with free meals, according to abc7.

Gone are the days where you had to ask your parents for lunch money, or borrow some for your friends. Starting this year, no kid will have to go hungry. This is a step in the right direction for the school systems, and hopefully more states will follow. With inflation on the rise, a lot of children have no idea where there next meal will come from. Now kids and parents can find relief in the fact that students will be provided with free lunches on a daily basis.
