Russ joined iHeartRadio's EJ for a virtual interview in which he talked about the "Handsomer" Remix, TikTok's impact on music and more.
Back in February, Russ had posted on his TikTok that he was going to do an open verse for his new song "Handsomer" and Ktlyn , known as Ktlyn Raps on TikTok, ended up being chosen to be on the remix. Russ talks about "Handsomer" with EJ and how TikTok impacts music.
Russ also opened up about how it is being an independent artist and what he does to protect his peace. EJ also asked Russ what advice he can give to someone who wants to give up on their craft.
"Fall in love with the climb, and if you don't love the climb then you're climbing up the wrong mountain. You need to find a mountain that you actually want to climb," responded Russ.
