As Covid-19 Delta variant numbers surge across the country, officials are doing everything they can to influence the public to receive the vaccine. There's been million dollar raffles for those that get vaccinated, hilarious commercials asking "street businessmen" to do the same and even free bags of marijuana for those that get in line for the shot! A Benton county jail is doing what they can to get inmates to vaccinate by offering a very popular commissionaire item: Ramen, oodles and noodles aka dinner in a cup! Flyers have been posted throughout the building reading 'SOUPS FOR SHOTS,' in noodle letters. “To encourage and support COVID vaccination efforts, the Benton County Department of Corrections will be providing each inmate that starts their vaccination series with 10 FREE RAMEN NOODLE SOUPS!!!” say posters around the jail. According to Seattle Times, by today 900 packages of noodles will have been passed out in exchange for the vaccination. “We’re doing everything we can do to incentivize vaccination and we are getting outstanding response,” the chief of corrections explained. You know what!? I'm not even mad at them for doing what they can to protect inmates during the pandemic! I'm always down for a cup of noodles, chicken preferably! What do you think!?
