Some of the best burgers can be found in local eateries tucked away from the hustle and bustle of packed city streets inside hidden hotspots.

Cheapism compiled a list of the "best hole-in-the-wall burger joints" across the U.S., the small but mighty eateries that might not be as "glamorous" as the highly-touted chains and popular establishments but that still pack a major punch with a bite you'll be thinking about for many meals to come.

According to the site, the top spot in all of Washington is Eastside Big Tom. The burgers at this unassuming Olympia shack are packed with flavor, but the menu is filled with plenty of other incredible options as well. Eastside Big Tom, which has a 4.7 star rating on Google and more than 2,500 reviews, is located at 2023 4th Avenue E.

Here's what Cheapism had to say about this beloved hidden gem:

"Eastside Big Tom is a kitschy little joint that's great for kids — a walk-up shack that doles out thin, traditional burgers with a special creamy sauce called goop. There's a covered eating area with picnic tables in the parking lot, along with crazy yard décor such as life-size dinosaurs, murals, and cartoon sharks."
