Joe Exotic really wants Cardi B’s help.
On the heels of the release of the trailer for Tiger King 2, Joe Exotic has penned a letter to the rapper to ask for her assistance in freeing him from jail. “When you see the truth in Tiger King 2, I need you to rally everyone together to be my voice of freedom,” a recently surfaced hand-written letter reads. “Be my hero girl. Love Joe Exotic.”
Bardi, who has previously shared her love for the Netflix star in 2020, caught wind of the message but had some skepticism. “Wait is this the real tiger king?” she asked fans in response to the image of the letter. It seems that the message was legit as the star’s legal representative, John M. Phillips, chimed in afterward and revealed that he wants to set up a call between the two. “I represent Joe. He heard about your message from prison. I’d love to put you two together on a phone call next week,” he wrote.
Bardi has previously revealed that she thought Exotic wasn't treated fairly in the whole debacle. “They did Joe so dirty over and over again,” she wrote in one tweet in 2020, adding in another that she was considering starting a fundraiser account for him.
As you know, Exotic, real name Joseph Maldonado-Passage, is serving 22 years behind bars for allegedly conspiring to his kill animal rights activist nemesis Carole Baskin.
