I had the pleasure of speaking to Corry from Shari's Cafe and Pies for Restaurant of The Day!
They have multiple locations around Seattle and personally, being English I love a good pie so this place is right up my alley. They are the perfect example of a fantastic local brand for you tp support during all this Covid craziness.
Their Day of Thanks Campaign works to change the conversation from a negative space, and give thanks to those critical workers like our team members, dashers, suppliers, teachers, etc. who are the bright lights during this time of uncertainty. They’ve also started offering free pies on Wednesday and Random Acts of Pie is a campaign Shari’s recently launched that will be encouraging our guests to spread happiness to their friends, family and community members by gifting them with surprise pie deliveries. They have also partnered with Meals on Wheels to help in their fundraising efforts and have also made numerous food donations to the local food banks.
It is incredible how involved in the community Shari's Cafe and Pies is and you seriously couldn't find a better place to support! Oh, and you get a tasty pie for your effort! Check out the interview below.
