First off, when Carla Marie read this headline she thought Seal, the performer slapped someone with an octopus. We're sure which would be more ridiculous at this point but an actual seal slapped a kayaker in the face with an actual octopus. If there wasn't a video no one would believe this guy.
Turns out they were a bunch of GoPro content creators who were out on the waters in New Zealand testing out new product. The kayakers saw a a seal thrashing around an octopus and then boom, kayaker Kyle Mulinder got hit right in the face. This the most epic video we've seen this year.
