This summer, the stars come out to PLAY! The annual Seattle All-Star Classic Celebrity Softball Game is back and BIGGER than ever!
Founded in 2021, the Seattle All-Star Classic is a star-studded, family-friendly event featuring a celebrity All-Star Softball Game & Home Run Derby at Tacoma’s Cheney Stadium. This year’s event is hosted by Seahawks star wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba and takes place on Saturday, July 12th.
Guests will be able to watch some of their favorite athletes & local celebrities compete on the field while interacting with fans and raising community awareness. The SASC also features vendor booths, kids' activities, auctions, music, suites, and party decks for private and corporate parties, and so much more.
Seattle All-Star Classic’s mission is to create a transformative event that supports and empowers the community to raise awareness and support the amazing work being done by local organizations, with a focus this year on finding ways to support and solve problems around food insecurity.
Founders of the event, Kerry Carter and Drew Dambreville have strong ties to the community. Kerry, being a former Seattle Seahawk, Drew, being a former Washington Huskies track star and current Seattle Seawolves COO, both of whom now call the greater Seattle area home! They wanted to build a unique, affordable event that everyone in the South Sound could easily have an opportunity to enjoy that also brought attention to and supported underserved communities.
