T-Mobile New Year's at the Needle

Space Needle

The Space Needle is set to dazzle viewers at home and in-person this year, as the beloved T-Mobile New Year’s at the Needle spectacular returns with the biggest show yet and brand-new audiences.

For the first time ever, Portland and Spokane will join the countdown to 2024 and watch the longest drone, light, and firework extravaganza yet broadcast live from the Space Needle, set to a soundtrack celebrating the biggest moments of 2023. This will be the biggest show ever, with a full drone performance and full pyrotechnic extravaganza on both sides of midnight.

Those celebrating in Seattle are invited to come watch with thousands of spectators at Seattle Center, or viewers at home can tune-in to the live one-hour broadcast starting at 11:30PM on KING 5 in Seattle, KGW 8 in Portland, and KREM 2 in Spokane.

The expanded 18-minute show will begin seven minutes before midnight with a performance by 500 drones leading to the largest structurally launched firework show in North America. The soundtrack to the West Coast’s biggest party will feature tracks from Pacific Northwest artists like Black Belt Eagle Scout and Modest Mouse, and hitmakers like Beyonce and Taylor Swift.
