Base 2 Space, Seattle's Most Iconic Climb

Climb up the Space Needle’s 832 open-air stairs to support Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center and

the Space Needle Foundation. 100% of all donations raised benefit Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center and the Space Needle Foundation.

Register at Base2SpaceSeattle.com! Registration includes a t-shirt, finisher medal, and access to the Space Needle’s indoor and outdoor observation decks, including the world’s first and only revolving glass floor.

All climbers will select their own start time during registration. During all waves, one staircase will be designated for runners and competitive climbers, and the other one will be for walkers and casual climbers. All climber speeds will be accommodated at all times. The 7:30AM-8:00AM wave is for Elite climbers only (to qualify you must be able to run a 5-6 minute mile).

Adult registration rate: $89. Youth (8-17 years old) registration rate is $50 and does not increase.

Adult climbers must raise a minimum of $175 and youth climbers (8-17 years old) must raise a

minimum of $100 to climb.

Base 2 Space is open to all fitness levels (climbers must be at least 8 years old to participate).
