Backstreet's Back... Alright! But did they ever even leave?! If you're asking me, the answer is ABSOLUTELY NOT.
My first time seeing the iconic boy band was all the way back in June of 2001 when the group embarked on their "Black & Blue" Tour. While I've seen them a number of times since that summer concert many years ago, one thing I can say is that the excitement and energy surrounding a BSB show is a guaranteed sensation that any 90s baby is certain to thrive off of. I was lucky enough to join my fellow "Jubal Show" members, Producer Victoria and Producer Bennett, for the DNA World Tour here in Seattle and can't express just how FUN of an evening it was.
Not only did I get the chance to attend the show with my friends, but we even had the opportunity to meet The Backstreet Boys before the show and they were so incredibly nice. As someone who has been waiting to meet them since I was 7 years-old, I couldn't have been more appreciative of how kind and attentive they were not only to me, but all the fans who had the chance to meet them that day. I saw many fans walking out of the meet and greet, some screaming with joy, some crying tears of happiness. It was such an exciting thing to witness! I for one was in shock post meet-and-greet... just see for yourself!
THEN, after the meet and greet and (many) drinks... it was show time! If you think that this band isn't working hard for the money you are WRONG. The show was a full 33-song set with many interactive experiences and solo performances throughout from the various members.
With hits like "Show Me The Meaning of Being Lonely," "The Call," "I Want It That Way," "Drowning" and "Everybody" echoing through the amphitheater for 3 hours, it's nearly impossible for Backstreet Boys fans and non-fans alike to NOT have an electrifyingly good time.
Who's your favorite boy band of all time?
