Did you get a chance to watch the new Mortal Kombat movie on HBO max yet? Not bad. As somebody who grew up watching her brother play Mortal Kombat with his friends, it was fun to see those characters come to life with the power of good CG and fresh nostalgia. If you haven't watched it yet, the cliff notes are: Sub Zero and Scorpion face off and Scorpion's son finds out that he's well, Scorpion's son.
Anywho, there was at least one Mortal Kombat character missing that people are hoping to see in the sequel: Johnny Cage. Ryan Reynolds has already started courting the producers of Mortal Kombat to try and land the role! And of course, he's doing it in the most Ryan Reynolds way ever!
