Roads Begin to Buckle During PNW Heatwave (Photos)

The last few days have definitely been almost unbearable in the PNW. A heatwave like no other has plagued the region since Friday. Temps have shattered records in the past couple of days and even as I sit here writing this blog, the temperature is 108 degrees. That is the hottest temp that the PNW has ever seen.

With record breaking temps comes new experiences and one of those experiences is that with the heat being so high, roads are beginning to buckle. Apparently when it gets hot enough, roads begin to crack or buckle because they are being stretched from the heat. Check out the pictures below of roads that have been effected so far.
