DON'T Dry Scoop!


As we know, trends on TikTok are generally pretty dumb. There was the trend where kids would assault a member of staff at school, (WTF). There was the Tide Pod challenge a while ago. The trends can be pretty stupid is the point I am trying to make and this newest trend is no different.

Dry scooping is now a thing. This is where you take pre-workout without water. You just dump a scoop of the powder into your mouth and swallow it. This is stupid for multiple reasons. Pre-workout works best when combined with water. That should be enough to make you not want to do this. If that isn't enough, the trend has left some individuals with health complications. Pre-workout contains a lot of caffeine and your blood pressure will increase substantially once you take it. Some people have experienced heart attacks because of the sudden increase in blood pressure. Not everyone will, but an individuals tolerance is very important when it comes to pre-workout.
