Local Business Spotlight: Bells Pastries

I mean, sharing is caring, right?

Last week I decided to highlight a new local business each weekday on my night show and the first one was Bells Pastries located in Seattle Wa!

Bells Pastries is owned by Jasmin Bell Smith, and they specialize in custom cakes, cookies, and even macarons! See some of their delicious treats below!

About the owner: Jasmin Bell Smith

At the ripe age of five, Jasmin Bell Smith fell in love with cooking and made the kitchen her permanent “playground” as a child. Experimenting and creating recipes alongside her father, Jasmin found food to be her passion.

Like most aspiring chefs, Jasmin began her culinary career competing in cooking competitions in high school, which lead her to an apprenticeship with Canyon Ranch, a renowned health and spa resort in Tucson, Arizona. Here, she began her culinary career as a core member of the Pastry Team. During Jasmin’s years there, she gained valuable experience working with health-conscious ingredients of the highest quality, and was exposed to fine dining overall.

After several years of being an Executive Pastry chef, and running her own successful Pastry teams in Bellingham & Seattle, Jasmin stepped away from the executive role and branched out to mentor through her own business, Bells Pastries.

Jasmin has been featured in several magazines, newspapers, local televised segments, and most recently on National Television with Food Network, as Season 3 Winner of Halloween Baking Championship (Oct.2017). She was also a Finalist, runner up on a special edition of- Chopped Desserts (Dec.2015), as well as special guest chef on the Emmy nominated talk show, Pickler & Ben (Sept. 2018)

While utilizing her education from the University of Arizona with a bachelors in Fine Arts, Pastry Chef Jasmin Bell Smith is on a mission to share her artistic talents and passion for food with the new generation of "Foodies". - via

Not only does Bells Pastries offer mouth-watering customized deserts, but you can get private lessons!

“Book a Private In Home Lesson for yourself or with your loved ones that best inspires your inner-chef! Each class is all inclusive providing you with supplies and equipment to create a fun filled lesson of pastry making.

To ensure each guest has the best experience, I recommend groups no larger than 10. This allows each guest to have a more personable experience while gaining the most from the lesson!” -

As I always say, GET INTO IT! And support local 🤗
