6.4 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Northern California

This morning at around 2:30AM a 6.4-magnitude earthquake hit Ferndale about 5 hours northwest of Sacramento leaving 70K without power, 2 injured and the Fern bridge being closed and inspected for damage. There have been reports of damage to homes and roads and widespread aftershock. This is the second earthquake to hit the Northern California coast in less than a week! On Saturday a 3.6 magnitude earthquake hit outside of El Cerrito leaving 7000 people shaken across the Bay and Sacramento Valley. You can click here to get more information and any updates.
