Cardi B, Rihanna & Many Others Give Back During Coronavirus Outbreak

As the coronavirus spreads across the globe, celebrities have stepped up to help us get through the pandemic in different ways.

La Cardi! Last week, Cardi B took the internet by storm with her coronavirus rant. After going viral, New York based DJ, DJ iMarkkeyz, laid the rant over some hard-hitting production, adding a few mixes and then boom, made another hit!

In case you missed it, the remix to the rapper's off the cuff rank took iTunes and social media platforms by storm. "The fact this damn corona virus song is charting on iTunes ....Hold on ..let me hit the Dj up and Atlantic so I can't get my damn coins," she wrote on Instagram on Tuesday (March 17). Thankfully, those coins are heading to those in need amid the coronavirus outbreak.

Rihanna's also making power moves to combat the global coronavirus as well! The singer's Clara Lionel Foundation, which brings the annual Diamond Ball, has pledged to donate $5 million to groups in the United States and around the world. The donation will support groups like Direct Relief, Partners in Health, Feeding America, the international Rescue Committee, WHO COVID-19 Solidarity Response fund in addition to many other organizations! Way to go Riri!

Mr. West is in the house! Kanye West is also giving back during the COVID-19 global pandemic. Not only did Kanye donate to the Dream Center in hot spot Los Angeles but he also donated to the We Women Empowered in his hometown Chicago. The charity strives to provide meals to children, families and the elderly affected by the outbreak in Chicago.
