Bon Jovi To Share Free Quarantine Concert, Documentary Livestream On Friday

Bon Jovi's forthcoming concert documentary, highlighting the band's latest album, 2020, will be available for free exclusively via the band's official Facebook page.

On a Night Like This - Bon Jovi 2020 will arrive on Nov. 27 at 6 PM Eastern Time.

The film documents the band's experience with COVID-19, the cancellation of its tour and the delay of the 2020 album release.

The intimate concert captures the first time the band performed the new album in person and the band members' first in-person meeting in months.

Keyboardist David Bryan and percussionist Everett Bradley were each sidelined with COVID-19 earlier this year. Jon Bon Jovi also believes his 18-year-old son Jacob had a mild case of the virus in March.

2020 is the 15th Bon Jovi studio album. Though it was initially slated to be released in May, Jon lobbied the band to postpone the release until this past October to update the record with a pair of new songs that reflect the current state of the world, which has changed dramatically since the initial 2020 tracks were recorded.

Among the recently added songs were "Do What You Can," an optimistic song Jon penned early in the pandemic shutdowns that reflected the people's efforts to help their communities get through the COVID crisis.

Another latter tune, "American Reckoning," was a result of racial tension and calls for police reform following George Floyd's alleged murder in Minneapolis police custody.
